Do I need a team to sign up?

No. KICKR is built for individual signups. Every player applies solo, and we draft skill-matched teams based on your level, your position, and the nights you can play. You play the whole month with the same teammates, but you do not need to bring anyone with you.

What if my game gets cancelled?

This is one of the three problems KICKR fixes. The venue and schedule for the month are locked in before any player signs up, so there are no last-minute venue cancellations or double bookings, and sides are always full because every spot is paid up front. In the rare case a game is unplayable (e.g. venue emergency outside our control), that single game's portion of your monthly fee is automatically credited to your next month, never silently absorbed.

How do you stop people from flaking last-minute?

We keep rosters full with three rules. First, every spot is paid up front for the whole month, so flaking costs real money. Second, your no-show rate is tracked on your player profile and feeds your skill rating, so repeat dropouts drop divisions. Third, the in-app trade board lets you hand your night to another rostered player if something genuinely comes up. Net effect: full sides, every night.

When and where are games played?

All KICKR games are played at Central Tech Stadium, 725 Bathurst Street in downtown Toronto, beside Bathurst subway station. Games run 7 to 10 PM, Mon to Fri. Exact start date to be announced.

How much does it cost and how does billing work?

KICKR has two monthly plans. The 4x plan is $79.99 CAD per month for 4 games (once a week). The 8x plan is $159.99 CAD per month for 8 games (twice a week), which adds double the field time and play all year round. You are billed monthly via Stripe and can cancel anytime before the next monthly billing date so you will not be charged again.

What if I am not very experienced?

KICKR runs skill-rated divisions so you are matched with players close to your level. You self-rate during signup and your rating updates after each match based on how the games actually go. The goal is competitive, balanced games for everyone, whether you are a returning rec player or a former varsity striker.

What is included with my subscription?

Every plan includes skill-balanced team placement at onboarding, stats tracked on your player card with an OVR rating, every game filmed with highlights posted to YouTube and streamed live on Kick, Instagram, and TikTok, your stats overlaid on your video highlights, attendance confirmation, and eligibility for the cash prize pool for the monthly champion.

Can I cancel or get a refund?

Yes. Cancel anytime from your account before the next monthly billing date and you will not be charged for the following tournament. For refund requests inside an active tournament, see the full policy at kickr.ca/support or email support@kickr.ca.
