1. Parties

In this document:

2. Eligibility

You confirm that you are at least 18 years old. KICKR is an adult-only league for the May 2026 tournament and beyond. Anyone under 18 is not eligible to participate.

You confirm that you are physically fit to participate in competitive 5v5 outdoor soccer and that no medical professional has advised you against vigorous physical activity.

3. Assumption of risk

You understand that participation in soccer carries inherent risks that cannot be eliminated, including but not limited to: collisions with other players, the ball, the boards, and the playing surface; sprains, strains, fractures, concussion, dental injury, eye injury, lacerations; heat stroke, dehydration, hypothermia, frostbite, sunburn, lightning strike, and other weather-related conditions; communicable disease; theft, loss, or damage to your personal property; and, in extreme cases, permanent disability or death.

You voluntarily and knowingly assume all such risks, whether foreseeable or not, including risks that arise from the ordinary negligence of the Released Parties.

4. Release and waiver of liability

In consideration of being permitted to participate in KICKR, you release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue the Released Parties for any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action of any kind arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, illness, or death sustained by you while participating in or in connection with any KICKR activity, including but not limited to negligence of the Released Parties.

This release is binding on you, your spouse, your children, your heirs, your estate, your personal representatives, and your assigns.

5. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any and all claims, demands, losses, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) brought by any person or entity arising out of or related to your participation in KICKR, your use of the Central Tech Stadium premises, your conduct on or off the field, or your breach of this document.

6. Responsibility for property damage

You agree to reimburse KICKR Global Sports Inc., RMI, and TDSB for the cost of repairing or replacing any damage to the Central Tech Stadium premises, facilities, equipment, or property that you cause through misuse, neglect, or wilful act. KICKR is not responsible for any of your personal property brought onto the premises and you are solely responsible for insuring it.

7. Filming, photography, and publicity consent

You understand and agree that every KICKR match is filmed and that footage and still photographs may include you. You grant KICKR a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable, sublicensable licence to record, edit, broadcast, publish, and use your name, voice, image, likeness, jersey name, jersey number, statistics, and performance data in any medium now known or later developed, including YouTube, Instagram, Threads, the KICKR website, weekly performance reports, marketing materials, and broadcasts to third parties. RMI has consented to filming for KICKR league use under section 6.2 of the Central Tech Stadium lease.

If you do not wish to be filmed, you must not participate in KICKR.

8. Rules of the premises and equipment

You agree to follow all applicable laws and the rules of the Central Tech Stadium premises, including without limitation:

You agree to follow the published KICKR league rules and any reasonable instruction given by KICKR staff or referees during a match. KICKR may suspend or remove you from the league for any breach without refund.

9. No refunds for weather, cancellation, or non-use

You acknowledge that the Central Tech Stadium lease is non-refundable for weather, cancellation, reduced attendance, interruption, delay, or inability to use the facility, including but not limited to rain, snow, wind, storms, extreme temperatures, or other adverse weather. KICKR cannot offer refunds in those circumstances. KICKR may, in its sole discretion, issue a credit toward a future tournament when an entire match day is cancelled by KICKR or by RMI.

You also acknowledge that RMI may, on at least 14 days notice, preempt KICKR lease times for school or other events. KICKR will reschedule any match preempted in this way; no refund is owed.

For all other refund matters, the published KICKR refund policy applies.

10. Emergency contact and medical information

You confirm that the emergency contact name, phone number, and relationship you provide are accurate and that the person named has agreed to be contacted in the event of an emergency. You confirm that any medical conditions, allergies, or medications you list are accurate. KICKR is not a medical provider and cannot administer medication; the information is collected so that an emergency responder can be informed quickly if needed.

11. Electronic signature and recordkeeping

You agree that typing your full legal name in the signature field below and submitting the form constitutes your signature on this document under the Electronic Commerce Act, 2000 (Ontario), and is legally equivalent to a handwritten signature. You consent to KICKR storing the signed document, the version, the SHA-256 hash of the text you signed, the date and time, your IP address, and the user agent string of your browser, for the purpose of proving acceptance.

12. Severability and entire agreement

If any part of this document is held to be unenforceable, the remainder continues in full force. This document, together with the published KICKR league rules and refund policy at the time of signing, is the entire agreement between you and KICKR with respect to your participation.

13. Governing law

This document is governed by and interpreted under the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario. Any dispute will be resolved by the courts of the Province of Ontario sitting in the City of Toronto.

14. Free trial and auto-conversion

For the May 25 to May 31, 2026 trial cohort, KICKR offers a free trial of the monthly league. The mechanics are:

By signing up for the trial, you give your express informed consent to the auto-conversion described above. The full refund mechanics that apply once the first month is charged are set out in the KICKR refund policy; nothing in this section overrides them.

15. App account and license

Some KICKR services, including the KICKR mobile app, are gated behind an active KICKR account. You agree that:

16. Suspension and termination

KICKR may suspend or terminate your account, your trial, or your subscription, with or without notice, including for the following reasons:

Termination for any of the reasons in this section does not entitle you to a refund of any month that has already been paid; the non-refundable rule in section 9 and the refund policy continue to apply.

17. Account security

You are responsible for the security of your KICKR account, including the device and email address you use for Apple Sign-In or for the magic-link backup. You agree to notify KICKR promptly at league@kickr.ca if you suspect that your account, your email inbox, or the Apple ID linked to your KICKR account has been compromised, lost, or used without your authorization. KICKR is not responsible for losses arising from your failure to safeguard your sign-in factors.

By typing your full legal name and submitting the signup form, you confirm that you have read this document, understand it, agree to it, and are signing it freely and voluntarily.
