What changed on May 20, 2026: added a "Free trial refunds" section that explains how the May 25 to May 31, 2026 free trial interacts with the existing non-refundable rule. The non-refundable rule, the medical-credit pathway, and the credit on KICKR-cancelled match days are unchanged.
KICKR Global Sports Inc. licences Central Tech Stadium under a lease that is non-refundable for weather, snow, wind, storms, or any other adverse condition. Section 8.3 of the lease is explicit. KICKR cannot offer a refund in circumstances where Razor Management Inc., the venue operator, does not. The credit-on-cancellation pathway above is how we make this fair to players when a match is called off.
For the May 25 to May 31, 2026 trial cohort, $0 is authorized on your card at signup and KICKR does not charge anything during the trial window. Because nothing is captured during the trial, there is no amount to refund for the trial itself.
If you do not cancel before 11:59 PM Eastern Time on Sun May 31, 2026, your card on file is automatically charged $159.99 CAD on June 1, 2026 for your first month of the regular subscription. The moment that charge fires, the standard non-refundable rule in "The short version" above applies in full: the first paid month is non-refundable, even if you change your mind in the first few days, because KICKR's lease at Central Tech Stadium is non-refundable for the same window. The medical-credit pathway and the credit on KICKR-cancelled match days continue to apply.
To avoid the June 1 charge entirely, cancel before 11:59 PM Eastern Time on Sun May 31, 2026 from the "Manage subscription" link in any KICKR email from Stripe, which opens the Stripe-hosted billing portal. Cancellation is one click and takes effect immediately. KICKR also sends a reminder email approximately 72 hours before the auto-charge so the deadline does not sneak up on you. The full free-trial mechanics are set out in section 14 of the KICKR participant waiver and terms.
Open any KICKR payment receipt from Stripe and click "Manage subscription". You can cancel there at any time, with no email needed. Cancelling stops your next month from being charged. You keep your spot for the current month.
Email league@kickr.ca with your full name, the email you registered with, and a copy of a doctor's note dated inside the affected month. We will issue a pro-rated credit for the unplayed games against your next monthly tournament. Credits are not redeemable for cash and expire 12 months from issue.
If your team forfeits because you did not show, that game still counts against your monthly slate and no credit is issued. If KICKR cancels a game (weather, venue), it is credited to your next month automatically.
You may transfer your remaining games in the current month to a substitute player of similar skill, subject to KICKR's approval, by emailing league@kickr.ca. The substitute must e-sign the KICKR participant waiver before they can play.
Pickup is cheap and skippable, which is why it never amounts to anything. KICKR works because every spot is paid for and every player is expected. This policy keeps the league fair to the people who do show up while staying inside what our venue lease allows us to promise.
